Jeff Griffith - Faith, Family, Freedom

Jeff grew up in Chester County, Pennsylvania and graduated from Bob Jones University in 1990.  He spent a few years managing a successful retail store then joined the marketing department of an international travel agency dealing with Israel and the Eastern Mediterranean.  His work in ministry began in 1994 with Biblical Family Ministries in Cleveland, GA.  In 1996 the ministry relocated to Lebanon County, which has been his home for most of the last 18 years.

Jeff and his wife, Heidi have been married for 16 years and have two teenage children.  In 2001 they joined the staff of Open Door Baptist Church and

began ministering as well, in Lebanon Christian Academy.  Jeff currently teaches History and Government in the Academy but has moved to the position of Administrative Pastor of Open Door.

In 2009, Jeff was an organizer for the “Tea Party Welcome” that confronted Senator Arlen Specter about his vote on the Affordable Care Act or “Obama”care.  He has served as a panelist at the Family Research Council’s Values Voter Summit in Washington, DC and been a lecturer at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference on topics such as The Nature of Rights and the 2nd Amendment.  He is a founding member of The Alexander Hamilton Institute on Constitutional Studies – the parent organization of COOL (the Constitutional Organization of Liberty).

Jeff has served on the Lebanon Republican Committee for most of the last eight years, first from the 10th Ward and now from 1st Ward East, including a term on Executive Committee as its Treasurer.  Jeff has studied at Morton Blackwell’s Leadership Institute in Virginia and for two years served on an Education Work Group for Senator Folmer’s Senate Education Committee.
